Carl leads the sales team and manages the company’s business planning, budgeting, financing and financial reporting. He received his B.S. in Accountancy from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, worked 2 years in public accounting, and has been working in the homebuilding industry ever since. His 30+ years of experience and old school work ethic help guide the day to day operations at Fischer & Frichtel.

Chris leads our Development and Construction Operations including acquiring real estate, planning and development of our new communities, research and architectural design of our home collections, and the construction management and build process. He received his B.S. in Architecture from Kansas State University and has over 30 years of design and construction expertise.

Pat came to us with more than 25 years of experience in marketing with a focus on the real estate, construction and banking industries. She previously directed the marketing of a real estate development & construction company, and worked for two international consumer goods companies and a marketing services firm. Pat says she has found promoting Fischer & Frichtel easy because the homes are so beautiful and well built, and customers are provided with first rate customer service.

Chris started working for Fischer & Frichtel as a teenager, advancing from working in the field to his current role as product development manager. ‘Every customer is unique, and we try to go ‘above and beyond,’ facilitating the owner’s personal wants and needs throughout all facets of the process,’ Chris maintains.

Heather joined the sales team in 2014. ‘I always wanted to sell homes,’ she remembers, ‘and I decided to work for F&F because of their 70-year reputation for beautiful, high-quality homes.’ Heather’s enthusiasm is obvious as she guides her customers through the purchase and financing process and helps them to personalize their new homes.

Matt is uniquely well-qualified for his role as a Fischer & Frichtel community sales manager. He started working for F&F as a laborer in the summer of 2000, became an apprentice carpenter in the summer of 2001, and continued this position through 2006. He attended the University of Missouri, Columbia in 2007 and 2008, and graduated with a BA in economics. In May of 2009, he returned to F&F as a sales manager-in-training, and was promoted to sales manager in the fall of 2009. Personable and engaging, Matt says, ‘Listening to our customers, understanding what they’re looking for in a new home, is most important to me. Our homeowners appreciate the flexibility and hands-on, personalized process that differentiate us from other builders.’

Jim has been with Fischer & Frichtel since 2000. Working with the in-house architect and field personnel, Laura helps owners create their ideal living environment, providing information ‘to make educated decisions on the features they will enjoy in their homes for many years.’ She holds a degree in interior design and has been in the industry since 1989.

Tim came to Fischer & Frichtel with significant experience in high-quality home building, having previously worked for both high-end custom builders and production builders throughout the St. Louis area. He enjoys sharing his extensive knowledge with his customers and making sure that the entire home building process is a success. Tim’s expert guidance, communication and support ensure that his customers will end up with a home they will be eager to show off to their friends and family.

Frank came to Fischer & Frichtel with comprehensive experience in construction management. He has been involved in all aspects of residential building—design, estimating, scheduling, supervision, and customer service. Frank has worked for several St. Louis home builders and a material supplier, and he has also owned and operated a custom home building company. He is as dedicated to every home he builds as if he were going to be living there himself. His quality and attention to detail, and most importantly, holding the desires and concerns of his customers in the highest regard, are the reasons he has created such great relationships with customers over the years.

Tom started his career as a Union Carpenter in 1985. He worked his way up the ladder, holding a number of titles, including foreman, general foreman, general manager and superintendent, and joined Fischer & Frichtel as project manager in 2021. He decided that he wanted to work for F&F because the company has its own carpenters. ‘As a carpenter myself, my standards are extremely high, and I know that is the way to ensure the quality that goes into our homes,’ he explains. ‘I’m also very impressed that we have an in-house warranty department staffed by carpentry veterans. I can’t stress how important it all is.’

Tim has been with Fischer & Frichtel since 2002, starting out as a siding & framing foreman and progressing to an advanced position within F&F’s Carpentry Specialties division. His warm personality, communication skills and high level construction expertise earns him much praise as a project manager. Yet, he’s humble. ‘My success with this company is due to being part of such a great team, and I’m proud to be a part of it,’ he says. Building relationships is his favorite part of the job. ‘I love building my customers’ dreams and seeing how excited they are to move into their new home.’
